When Should We Love? [LOVE 8]

[Navigator: Œ Ž LOVE 8 Visitors are requested to start from LOVE1.]

“Love is when you look into someone’s eyes, and see everything you need.”

—Kirsten Kappel.

One should love, not always when one has reached the age of consent! It should not have anything to do with age. It depends on one’s maturity. But it should be reminded that most of us think themselves to be mature enough to do anything, and that most of us are wrong. When one is mature enough to admit that (s)he might be wrong, only then one can take her/himself seriously.

“Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.”

—Hamilton Mabie.

But not every season suits everyone! So one must take timely pre-cautions.

       One should love when one:

a)    Is mature enough to know the consequences of what (s)he is doing.

b)    Is capable of facing the consequences or taking the responsibility.

We all know these but don’t act wisely (rather, act otherwise).

To add to these:

c)     When one meets a ‘mutual heart’.

d)    And when the other person concerned also feels the same and is ready to do so.

In most cases when we meet someone attractive, we feel restless as long as we have not settled something about her/him. And this excitement makes us forget all wisdom. So, keep in mind:

“True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked.”

—Erich Segal.

To be continued…
